A flyer mailed out advertising an "at-home abortion kit" is apparently just a hoax and the U.S. Postal Service is now investigating it as a possible mail fraud. The flyer uses the name of a non-existent group, American Women's Health, but uses the address of a Chicago-based pro-life group, the Pro-Life Action League, and is post-marked from Carol Stream. The flyer was sent to dozens of pro-life groups and churches. As Fox 32 notes, the flyer [PDF] takes a sarcastic tone, claiming, "All that is required is the pump and gentle pushing. No mess, no hassle, no fuss!" and advertises the kit for $400 or "three kits for only $1,000, for future unplanned pregnancies." The PLAL also contacted the FBI and Chicago Police about the flyer and have done their own speculation about how may be behind it.
