Are You the Worst Cook you Know?
Are you hopeless in the kitchen? Do you burn everything you touch? Put salt in your coffee? You might be able to become famous on reality television. The Food Network is casting for a new show called "Worst Cooks in America." The idea is to take a group of horrible cooks, put them through a "culinary boot camp" and then see who turns out the best. They are "seeking people with a genuine inability to cook, but a need and desire to improve!" Contestants will be judged by a panel of experts, and of course, a camera will record their every tearful failure.
The show will be casting around the country, and they're coming to Chicago on April 17, next Saturday. There will be an open casting call at the Affinia hotel - cooks should bring a dish that represents their "best attempts at cooking." While you're at the Affinia, grab dessert at C-House.
We must admit that, despite our hatred of reality television, this might just catch our attention. This show had better have the biggest food fight ever recorded in the history of television, and a private "pantry-cam" to record all of the crying, screaming moments. A few exposed chiseled abs wouldn't hurt either. Any other ideas for the show? Add them to the comments. We'll send along a petition.
