It's no secret we're huge dog-lovers here at Chicagoist. Which is why we're glad to hear that a large group of dogs rescued from a puppy mill in Tennessee are making their way to Chicago's Anti-Cruelty Society shelter where they'll be available for adoption. Because the dogs need check-ups and won't be available for adoption for a few days, the ACS has asked that anyone interested in adopting one of the rescued pooches check their website rather than call. If you've been thinking of adopting a dog, we can't think of a better time of year and we can't think of a better reason than this.
