Jennifer LaPenta, the woman jailed by a judge for wearing a t-shirt with the word "pussy" on it to court, is, of course, now planning a lawsuit. LaPenta's attorney, Peter Kalagis, told CBS 2, "We were going to reach out to the court, but they have refused to speak to us. It might require legal action." That legal action seems to be a civil suit that Kalagis, who also name-dropped the ACLU, claims will be filed by next Wednesday. LaPenta was jailed for two days last week by Circuit Court Judge Helen Rozenberg for wearing a t-shirt in court that said, "I Have The Pussy, So I Make The Rules." But LaPenta wasn't the one facing a hearing. Rather, she was accompanying a friend who had a court date. Still, Rozenberg found the shirt inappropriate and had LaPenta arrested for "direct criminal contempt."
