PHOTOS: The Shout Out Louds At Lincoln Hall

The Shout Out Louds played a sold-out show at Lincoln Hall on Monday, touring behind the Swedish group's third full-length Work. The show began slowly, with the band in fine form, but failing to ignite the capacity crowd. A few songs in though we began to feel we were set up, in much the same way a pitcher feels when a batter who has been batting poorly left-handed suddenly becomes a right-hander and starts blasting each and every pitch out of the ballpark. The Shout Out Louds caught sonic fire detonating the crowd with the evening's top song, the now (to our ears) classic pop of "Tonight I Have to Leave It." From that point on it was all over as they induced the packed room into much dancing, smiling, and jumping around.
