Neon Marshmallow Fest Debuts In Chicago

This year, Chicago becomes the home to Neon Marshmallow Fest. This brand new four-day festival celebrates a wide variety of noise and experimental music and will be held at Viaduct Theater from Thursday, August 19 through Sunday, August 22. It’s co-curated by Acid Marshmallow’s Matt Kimmel and Neon Blossom Records’ Dan Smith, who also plays under the moniker Red Electric Rainbow.

The fest will feature over 90 sets on two separate stages. Acts are coming from around the globe for Neon Marshmallow, such as Government Alpha from Japan, Dolphins Into The Future from Belgium, Justice Yeldham from Australia and Cornucopia from Puerto Rico. Other notable acts include Astral Social Club, U.S. Girls, Emeralds and Carlos Giffoni as well as special surprise sets and collaborations.
