Do This: Sofie "BeerBQ" at The Tasting Room
In our review of Goose Island Sofie from last year, we said that we weren't wowed by it. Maybe we should have had it paired with some food, like graham elliot's Jindori chicken, a highlight from their second anniversary dinner Sunday night. Or barbeque.
From 6-9 p.m. Thursday, The Tasting Room launches their summer "BeerBQ" series by debuting Sofie on draft on their 80-seat outdoor patio. While that flows freely, Tasting Room Executive Chef Mark Kuchenbecker will man the grill, serving up burgers, brats and chicken. Live music and entertainment will also be provided.
The Tasting Room is at 1415 W. Randolph. Reservations for the $25 "BeerBQ" are not required, but can be made by calling 312-942-1313.
