Fire To Burn Up Ivy In Friendly At Wrigley?

Now, the Chicago Fire are in talks with the Cubs about bringing a friendly match against Mexico’s Club America to Wrigley Field. Confirming there have been talks though nothing is scheduled for this year, a Cubs spokesperson said, “That said, we have looked into hosting a soccer game at Wrigley Field over the past two seasons and can contemplate seeing soccer at Wrigley in the future.” Wrigley last saw soccer in 1984 when the Chicago Sting, of the North American Soccer League, called Wrigley home.
