It took two years, but the Bulls finally made an offer to Boston Celtics assistant head coach Tom Thibodeau to become the Bulls next head coach. According to sources, he was offered a three year deal. Bulls Executive vice president John Paxson and general manager Gar Forman interviewed Thibodeau in L.A. earlier this week, as the Celtics prepared for their NBA Finals match-up with the Lakers. Bulls management were impressed with Thibodeau, who withdrew his name from consideration for the New Orleans Hornets job yesterday.
