Randolph Wine Cellars To Close

From our various inboxes today comes news that Randolph Wine Cellars will close July 31 to make way for a new restaurant concept that owner Brenda Fotopoulos says is "the likes of which Chicago has never seen before!!"

Bold words that require some follow up, from both Fotopoulos and us. Calls placed to Randolph Wine Cellars and their PR have not panned out as of post time (we do have an e-mail for comment from Nick Luedde, GM of the Tasting Room next door for comment). In the meantime, RWC will be offering steep discounts on their remaining inventory from 1-8 p.m., Monday trough Saturday, starting July 1.
