Do This: C-House/Goose Island Saison Beer Dinner

c_house.jpg We're fans of a good dinner paired with beer. Last year, we attended Carnivale's Slow Food and Goose Island Brewery Dinner. This year, we're nudging you to attend the C-House Saison Beer Dinner. The seasonal dinner will include a cocktail reception, three course meal, and variations on a limited-time Goose Island craft beer, C-House Saison, a collaboration between C-House's Nicole Pederson and Goose Island's Jared Rouben.

The evening begins at 6:30 with canapés and Goose Island's Fleur - a Belgian style pale ale that incorporates hibiscus and Kombucha. At 7:30, the party moves into the dining room where it begins with grilled baby octopus and the original C-House Saison. The entree is Gunthorp Farm Roasted Pork Rack accompanied by gooseberries, house made sausage, broccoli, summer greens and sourdough - all paired with a spice-infused C-House Saison. Dessert will be a sweet almond pound cake served with a C-House Saison that has been infused with Rhubarb. Check out the full, detailed menu here.

Come join the C-House Saison Beer Dinner party at C-View at 6:30 p.m. this Thursday, July 8th. The prices is $60 per guest. That price includes tax and gratuity. Reservations are limited and can be made by calling C-House at 312.523.0923.
