Transformers 3 Brings Action, Apocalypse To Downtown

Yesterday we shared a few reader photos of this weekend's Transformers 3 filming going on downtown. That was just scratching the surface. Friend of Chicagoist Piriya Metcalfe shared with us a huge selection of close-up shots featuring several of the cars featured in the chase scenes filmed (jacked up NASCARs), the parachute stunts, and lots of artificial chaos in the financial district. Not sighted: Shia LaBeouf, sober or otherwise.
