Oprah's on the hunt! If you were in the audience for the very first Oprah Winfrey show, she's looking for you.

The date in question was September 8th, 1986, it was Oprah's first national broadcast (which she went for based on the advice of one Mr. Roger Ebert) and the topic was "How to Marry the Man/Woman of your Choice." If you were there or know someone who was, they'd love to track you down and presumably bring you back for a trip down memory lane. Remember, all this was pre-hype, pre-Stedman, pre-weight-obsession, pre-Dr. Phil, pre-"You get a car!", pre-Tom Cruise, pre-Gayle, pre-shutting down Michigan Avenue, pre-everything. Just one woman and a microphone, and look what a difference 25 years and an ability to connect with an audience like no one else, can do.

Should you decide to out yourself as someone present for the event (mid-80's fashion flashbacks be damned), you can contact Camp Oprah here. Of course, since Oprah is all-knowing and all-powerful, this is obviously just cover to make it look like she hasn't already found them all, cryo-froze them and stuffed them beneath a soundstage somewhere in Chicago for just such an occasion like this.
