No word if Baby Ruths were also found in the pool.
While most of this weekend's talk revolving around fecal matter had to do with, well, you know, it seems youngsters had similar poop-related behavioral issues closer to home. Five teens - one adult (18) and four juveniles - were charged for an August 1 incident in Mount Prospect in which garbage and animal poop was dumped into a park district pool. Per the Sun-Times:

Police were called to the Mount Prospect Park District pool at 411 S. Maple St. on Aug. 1 to investigate a break-in and found the [55-gallon] trash can in the pool, filled with several types of refuse, including an estimated 30-40 bags of dog feces, a release from Mount Prospect police said.

Kids these days, I tell ya! The pool - the Big Surf Wave Pool at Lions Park - was closed all the entire following day for clean-up and to "super chlorinate its water." The Daily Herald's report of the original incident indicates that, if convicted, the teens will be responsible for the cost of clean up as well as lost revenue from concessions for being closed.
