Purple Pig Makes Bon Appétit's Best New Restaurants List
Bon Appétit magazine released its list of the country's best new restaurants today and Chicago is represented by the Purple Pig. The magazine said of the Pig:
"Communal tables, small plates, long hours, and a huge L-shaped bar (with excellent beer and wine lists) make this one of Chicago's most delicious--and easygoing--foodie destinations."
Can't disagree with that. The Purple Pig has been one of the biggest new restaurant openings of the past twelve months, for many tasty good reasons.
Included in the Purple Pig's selection is chef Jimmy Bannos, Jr.'s recipe for pork blade steaks with nduja and honey and arugula salad.
