Today's Weather: Deadlocked

After a string of milder, sunnier days, we moved into milder and cloudier yesterday. Heck, we even had some rain overnight and there are still some clouds and scattered showers out there this morning. But as the day moves along, those clouds might thin a bit and more sun may come through. Highs will creep towards 80 but may not cross the threshold. In fact, yesterday was the first day since July 1 that the recorded high temperature hadn't gone above 80 degrees. Not that this trend of cooler, less humid weather will continue as tomorrow the heat returns. But, for now, we'll appreciate the mild air as the sun and clouds tussle for the final verdict in the sky.
