Inherit the Windbag: Blago Mulls Political Comeback

"If you're asking me, do I believe that there's a potential political comeback in the future, when I'm vindicated, absolutely I do."
Blagojevich seems to have already forgotten that he's been found guilty on one federal charge of lying to the FBI, and the federal prosecutors are planning on trying him again on at least some of the 23 counts that met with jury deadlock. Or the fact that the Illinois State Senate passed a law barring Blago from ever holding public office ever again.
Blago's appearance on the Fox show is part of his ongoing media campaign, which many opine is simply a way to try and win over the public and possibly influence jury members a second time around. Indeed, the lone holdout in his last jury said that most of what she knew about Blagojevich came from watching Jay Leno. Blago appeared on the Today show on Friday, and is scheduled to be on The Daily Show Monday night. Yesterday, he was glad-handing and signing autographs for $50 a pop at Comic Con in Rosemont, where he also got to meet Jeremy Scheuch, the man with the sweet Blago tattoo.
A hearing is scheduled for Thursday to determine how and when Blagojevich's retrial will take place.
