Weekend Dance Party: Life During Wartime Hits Hideout

2010_9_23_ldw.jpg Yet again, another weekend full of solid choices to get your dance on. It's hard keeping up with you, Chicago. Sharam's spinning electro at Spy Bar on Friday, Toy Selectah is hitting Smart Bar with solid tech house on Saturday, plus we've got some other good choices scattered throughout the city. For this week, though, we're gonna keep it local with no frills and go with monthly dance party Life During Wartime at Hideout for this week's Weekend Dance Party.

L.D.W. residents Bald E. and Mother Hubbard will hold it down as usual with a plethora of party jams akin to the best house parties you vaguely remember. They'll be joined by a debut performance from exbestfriends, better known as Ryan from Hey! Cliché!, who will also be doing visuals for the event. If you've never been, L.D.W. is always, always a good time; add cheap admission and drinks at one of our favorite venues, Hideout, and you got a pretty safe bet for your Weekend Dance Party.

Life During Wartime is Saturday, 11:30pm, at Hideout, 1354 W. Wabansia, $5, 21+
