Biden Stumps for Quinn

What is it about this photo that just cracks us up? Is it the barely restrained, Labrador-like enthusiasm of Vice President Joe Biden trying to rally Pat Quinn's base so he can win the Governor's race? Is it the weary expression on Quinn's that says, "that upstart Giannoulias gets Obama and I'm stuck with this?" Is it the "Plumbers for Governor Quinn" sign, but with "Quinn" outside the shot? Makes one want to photoshop into this picture Sally Field holding up a homemade "UNION" sign from Norma Rae.
Anyway, Biden was stumping hard for Quinn yesterday, although he waited nearly 40 minutes to mention Quinn's name at one stop. Maybe he was seeing stars from all the campaigning.
You read and listen to all this and think to yourself, "Pat Quinn is the Rodney Dangerfield of Illinois politics."
