Tribune Suspends Abrams For Memo

By Chuck Sudo in News on Oct 13, 2010 9:00PM

2010_10_13_abrams.jpg Well, that was quick. Tribune Co. Chief Innovation Officer Lee Abrams, whose office memo filled with video links to Onion News Network video links and references to "sluts" led to a litany of employee complaints, was suspended indefinitely without pay by Tribune Co. CEO Randy Michaels. Abram, who had earlier apologized for sending out the memo, could also face further disciplinary action.

The always intrepid Steve Rhodes at Beachwood Reporter managed to obtain a copy of the Abrams memo, which reads like any number of forwarded spam and past-their-due-date internet memes I receive from my aunts and uncles. Maybe they can be chief innovation officers, as well.
