Harry Caray's Wrigleyville to Close

2010_11_16_HCW.jpg What kind of world do we live in where a bar and restaurant named after a noted baseball broadcaster and beer lover, located steps from the ballpark where he became a legend, can't stay open? If you asked us, we'd say, "a perfect world."

But we aren't the folks at Harry Caray's. Harry Caray Group CEO/Ringmaster Grant DePorter announced that the Wrigleyville location of the venerable restaurant chain is closing Monday. DePorter, in making the announcement, said the relationship between the restaurant and their landlord is like "a bad marriage." But aren't many landlord/tenant relationships?

They still wish to stay in Wrigleyville, however, and are looking for a new space.
