Defendant Guilty in Derrion Albert Murder

It only took a jury 3-1/2 hours to find 20-year-old Silvonous Shannon guilty for his part in the 2009 beating death of Fenger High School student Derrion Albert. Shannon's attorneys tried to frame him as a bystander who tried to break up the rumble that was captured on a cell phone cideo.

Shannon put his head into his hands and started weeping when the verdict was read.
