"Don't Be A Slater Hater"

From the "my first beer" file: a customer at Mullets Sports Bar and Grill in Homer Glen had police called on him after he smashed a framed photo of A.C. Slater, the jock character Mario Lopez played in Saved By the Bell. When asked why by the owner, the customer simply answered, "I just don't like Slater."

There are a couple of unasked questions here. First, there's a sports bar named "Mullets?" That's damn near meta territory. Second (and we can probably answer this question): what kind of sports bar has a framed photograph of a young Mario Lopez hanging over a urinal (Answer: Mullets Sports Bar and Grill).

They just do things differently in Homer Glen.
