More on The Emanuel Ballot Tossing

The Rahm Emanuel campaign has announced a rally for 5 p.m. at the Chicago Board Options Exchange of Elections to protest the Illinois Appellate Court's decision to have him tossed from the ballot.

Meanwhile, while we're waiting for the details from the announced press conferences of Gery Chico and Miguel del Valle to come in, Chicago Magazine reminds us of Carol Felsenthal's December article that looked at the potential conflict of interest on the Illinois Supreme Court regarding the Rahm residency issues. Justice Anne Burke is the wife of 14th Ward Alderman Ed Burke. And while Burke insists he doesn't use the word "endorse" with regards to Gery Chico, he did say a couple weeks back he'd be "hard pressed not too be for Gery Chico."
