Chico Keeps Hammering at "Rahm Tax"

Gery Chico, who seems to have no problems with letting perfectly good taxpayers leave the city if he's elected, continued to attack Rahm Emanuel's proposed tax plan today while visiting a Hyde Park barber shop. In the process, Chico seems bent on coining a term that, while not as catchy as "Rahmageddon," may just stick in the cortexes of folks trained to foam at the mouth at the mere mention of the word "taxes."
“Need a plumber? Pay the Rahm Tax. Need a taxi? Pay the Rahm Tax. Need to park your car? Pay the Rahm Tax,” Gery Chico said. “If Rahm Emanuel gets his way, we will all pay the Rahm Tax.”
IT should also be noted that Chico supports the "Amazon Tax," which currently awaits Gov. Quinn's signature and, if enacted into law, may prompt online retailers like Amazon and Overstock.com from dropping affiliate programs in Illinois.
