Beethoven loved three women. All refused to marry him.
Great. Valentine's Day approaches. Those of you happy souls, who, with starry eyes, gaze into the velvety adoration of your one and only, a stare that exists outside the mortal constraints of time and space, only broken by the promise of greeting supple lips in an expression of love whose ardor brings you to the brink of your soul, well, freaking good for you.

Life is so full of good fortune, you'll probably be one of the ten winners of a pair of tickets to see the Chicago Chamber Musicians' Valentine's Day performance at the Harris Theater, an all-Beethoven concert featuring the Quintet for Piano and Winds, the String Quartet in F Major, and the Septet. You'll probably also win the $50 gift certificate to Tavern at the Park. Life is sugarplums, butterflies, puppy nuzzles, and rainbows.

Don't dawdle, though, because like all good things, including perfect love, this will end. You have until 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 7, to enter. Good luck, you happy bastards.
