You can't expect the Bulls to win 9 out of every 11 games all the time, but it doesn't make last night's 109-103 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers any easier to stomach. The Bulls ran into an efficient two-man game in LaMarcus Aldridge and Andre Miller they had no answers for. Aldridge was unstoppable, scoring a career-high 42 points on 15-23 shooting. Miller added 27 points and 11 assists. Derrick Rose led the Bulls with 36 points as they next play Utah, hoping to stave off their first three-game losing streak of the season.

The Blackhawks, meanwhile, would be out of the playoffs if the the Stanley Cup playoffs started today. Their 3-1 loss to the Calgary Flames dropped the defending Stanley Cup champions to 1oth in the Western Conference. The Blackhawks have lost four of five games.
