Keeping The Foot Traffic In Block 37

By Tankboy in News on Feb 11, 2011 5:20PM

It's not like we ever expected the underground tunnel between the Blue and Red lines at Washington to ever re-open, though signs have intimated that it was only a matter of time until it did, but we noticed yesterday the city is taking permanent measures to ensure al foot traffic has to go through Block 37 from here on out. We were able to snap a few shots of the construction of the permanent blockade currently underway during our commute this morning, and please note that those towers of cinder blocks are actually cemented to the stairs. We're guessing a set of heavy trapdoors can't be far behind, only to be opened in case of twister or the eventual release of the Morlocks.
