Mayor-Elect Emanuel Stops at One Last "L" Station
During his acceptance speech last night, Mayor-elect Emanuel (and it won't take long to get used to typing that) said he shook hands at 110 "L" stops. Someone in the crowd shouted, "You forgot one!" To which he replied, "I'll be there tomorrow." Consider that the first campaign promise Emanuel upheld, as he was shaking hands at the 95th Street "L" platform this morning. We think he may be a cyborg.
