Pitchfork 2011 Dates Announced As Nation's Hipsters Affect Nonchalance

2010_07_pitchforklogo.jpg Now that we've gone for the easy, lazy hipster-baiting joke in the header, let's dispense with the real news. Pitchfork announced on its venerable, taste-making site the dates for the 2011 version of its annual music festival: July 15-17 at the usual bat station, Union Park. Tickets go on sale next Friday, March 4th, and they'll set you back $110 for three-day passes, and $45 for single day passes.

They'll be on sale here. Last year, three-day passes sold out in less than a week, so be sure to get a move on it. Speaking of which: If we really want to save the craft, how's about we get a petition to get Goose Island back on as the festival's beer provider? (Maybe that's not economically feasible, but a fella can dream, can't he?).
