It's New to Us: Sky Blue "White House" Replica in Chatham

Here's a house at 84th and Michigan in Chatham, built from imported blue Italian brick, that is a supposed replica of the White House. Outside of the walkway, we're in agreement with the Sixth Ward blog: we don't see it.

According to Cubed Chicago, the house is on the market for a cool (blue) $899,900. It was built in 1966 and has a recently rehabbed interior of cherry floors, granite-stainless steel kitchen and new bathroom. Curbed's Mark Boyer also indicates the realtor listing the property, Shaundra Brown, seems to be the owner. The current listing is a cut from the $1 million it was originally listed for.
