"Pork Soda" is Back at Longman & Eagle

By Anthony Todd in Food on Mar 9, 2011 7:40PM

2011_3_9_PorkSoda.jpg Longman & Eagle, in collaboration with Goose Island Brewery, debuted "Pork Soda" last month, a Golden Belgian Double IPA that, according to Beer Advocate, has "a fruity aroma and hint of pine." The brew is "dry-hopped with Citra and Simcoe hops." If you're a beer nerd, you will understand these things. Non-beer nerds who love everything Longman & Eagle should know that last time, the special brew sold out in a matter of days. This Monday, it will be back on tap, though we doubt it will be there for long!

If you're interested in more detailed information about the brew, Longman & Eagle posted an informational video on their blog when it first debuted.

Longman & Eagle is located at 2657 N. Kedzie Avenue.
