So how did the Rod and Patti Blagojevich show go on WLS AM 890 this morning? Well, if there's one thing we've mentioned before, it's that Rod Blagojevich is a born politician. He's also prone to the occasional verbal miscue. Blago called his impeachment and removal from office the "tsunami that happened to me."

We shouldn't be shocked that Blagojevich's colossal ego got in the way of good judgment and self-editing. This is, after all, the man who was quoted in Esquire as saying he was "blacker than Barack Obama." Blagojevich then went on to call Gov. Quinn, House Speaker Michael Madigan and Senate President John Cullerton an "unholy trinity," Springfield lawmakers "cynical scoundrels," claim to ABC7's Jason Knowles, who called into the show that he did not lie to the FBI (despite that being the one charge a jury convicted him of last year), and saying once again that he was "seeking vindication." Makes us regret sticking to our old radio habits this morning.
