Let's start with the bad news out of the United Center last night, shall we? The Blackhawks dropped to the eighth seed in a sardine-packed Western Conference playoff picture courtesy of a 2-1 loss to the Anaheim Ducks. In a battle of Corey's, Anaheim's Corey Perry was too much for Hawks goalie Corey Crawford, scoring his 43rd and 44th goals of the season in the final period off of Crawford. Until Perry managed to solve Crawford it looked as though Marian Hossa's first period goal would hold up. The win puts the Ducks in seventh place in the Western Conference standings.

If you were listening to the crowd reaction in the Bulls' 95-87 win over the Bucks in MIlwaukee and mistakenly thought it was a home game, you wouldn't be faulted. A prominent roar of partisan Bulls fans erupted every time there was even a hint of a "Derrick son't do them like that" moment. And there were plenty of those from D-Rose, especially in a 12-0 run that closed out the game and gave the Bulls their only lead of the game. Rose had 10 points and six of his career-high 17 assists in that span, including a no-look pass to Joakim Noah for a dunk and a beautifully executed 2-on-1 fast break with Ronnie Brewer. Noah and Carlos Boozer controlled the pain for the Bulls, with 11 rebounds each.
