Chicagoans Very Good at Filing Taxes Last-Minute
Thanks to some changes in the tax code, we've been given until Monday to file our income taxes. If you're like us and looking for that receipt from a DMK Burger bar visit in September to use as a writeoff, the extra time will be necessary. Turbo Tax recently looked at the tax returns filed online through their services last year from April 14-17 and found that Chicago is the second-worst city in the nation for last-minute tax filings.
