P4K Music Festival Rounds Out Line-Up, Now With More Superchunk!

By Tankboy in Arts & Entertainment on Apr 15, 2011 6:15PM

pitchfork_music_fest_2011_logo.png Pitchfork Music Festival just released another update on acts they've booked and with these new additions we can see three very distinctive days of pretty great music.

Friday night is all about the old crowd in the evening with Thurston Moore joining Guided By Voices and Neko Case, while earlier in the day expect dancing courtesy Battles, Das Racist and the rest. Saturday looks to get slow and spooky with the additions of Zola Jesus, Twin Shadow and DJ Shadow though Dismemberment Plan should provide a cold splash of noise to wake everyone up as the sun's going down. Sunday looks to be the most eclectic day of the line-up and the addition of Superchunk to an already strong line-up makes that the day to beat. The festival, taking place in Union Park from July 15 through 17, single day tickets are still available, though three-day passes are sold out.
