Brown Line Service has been suspended from Fullerton to Southport, and Red Line Service from Fullerton to Addison, because of a reported "mechanical problem." CTA Tweet is reporting that the mechanical problem in question is a Brown Line derailment at Belmont and Sheffield. Stay tuned.

10:05 a.m. [UPDATE]: We have a couple of updates from Chicagoist staffers. Laura Browning is reporting that the Red Line is running from Howard to Addison, where passengers are transferring to shuttle buses. Jake Guidry said he's been waiting for 50 minutes at North/Clybourn heading north and just started moving to Fullerton, where he and other passengers will be boarding shuttles.
