It really is all in with the White Sox this season. When the team's hitting, the entire lineup is hitting. The opposite has held true during their recent offensive drought. Last night's 9-2 whipping of the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field saw contributions throughout the lineup and the Sox hitting a respectable 6-for-17 with runners in scoring position. Paul Konerko, Carlos Quentin, AJ Pierzynski and Omar Vizquel each drove in two runs, providing more than enough run support for Gavin Floyd to earn his second win of the season. More good news - the 1-0 first inning lead ended a stretch of 51 innings where they trailed the opposition. Hopefully for Sox fans the bats woke up at the right time, as they travel to Detroit for a weekend series with Tigers. Mark Buehrle takes on Justin Verlander in a pitcher's duel at 6:05 p.m.
