Uncle Fatty's Cancels "Bin Laden is Rot'n" Party

Uncle Fatty's Rum Resort (Lakeview's #1 cover band venue featuring daily drink specials, games and more in a fun, beach-party atmosphere) has backed off its plans to host a celebration of Osama bin Laden's death featuring drink specials called "The Floating Terrorist" and "Osama Been Shot."

In a press release, representatives for Uncle Fatty's said, "After further consideration we have decided that this was a joke that was taken too far and have therefore decided to change the focus of the party. We have pushed the envelope in the past by hosting parties with irreverent themes, but we now recognize that this was perceived as inappropriate." And yet, UNcle Fatty's gets to keep all the publicity this created.
