Whole Foods Coming to Hyde Park
Hey, Hyde Park! You're getting a Whole Foods.
It isn't coming immediately, but sometime around 2014 you'll be able to spend half your paycheck at the planned 30,000 square-foot store at the southwest corner of Hyde Park Boulevard and South Lake Park Avenue. The store is expected to create 125 jobs and will bring the total number of stores in the city limits to seven.
We'll still be shopping at the new Cermak Fresh Market that opened yesterday at 30th and Halsted. They've made great use of the former Jewel space.
