Charges Filed Against Two Cops in Alleged Sexual Assault
Charges were formally filed against two police officers accused by a Rogers Park woman who accused them of sexual assault in March.
Paul Clavijo and Juan Vasquez are expected in bond court at noon on charges of criminal sexual assault and official misconduct. Clavijo and Vasquez, who are assigned to the Town Hall district by Wrigley Field and Boystown, allegedly found the woman walking down Sheffield after leaving a friend's apartment. The woman claims that Clavijo then had sex with her in the officers' SUV, and later at her apartment during a game of strip poker. She said that she felt too intimidated by Clavijo and Vasquez to say "no."
