Afternoon Box Score: Sox Let One Slip

The White Sox' starting pitching is putting up its expected streak of quality starts. But they're mitigated more often than not by a lack of hitting. Such was the case this afternoon in Arlington, TX as Gavin Floyd went seven strong innings, allowing only three hits. But the Sox hitters put up goose eggs on the scoreboard save for the seventh inning. The Sox were 2-for-7 with runners in scoring position. This is also the first series the Sox have lost since dropping three of four to Baltimore last month.
