Afternoon Box Score: Pirates Punk Cubs Again

By Chuck Sudo in News on May 28, 2011 8:30PM

Pirates 10, Cubs 0

One day the Cubs will figure out how to beat Pittsburgh on a regular basis. Until then, the Wrigley faithful will have to endure more horror scenes like today. Randy Wells was rusty and ineffective in his return from the disabled list. Pirates starter Paul Maholm improved to 2-7 on the year, while Lyle Overbay, Andrew McCutcheon, Ronny Cedeno and Chris Snyder all homered for the Pirates.
