Bank Robbers Imitate The Town, Rob Bank in Nuns Habits

Two robbers, described in differing reports as a white male and a white female or a black man and black woman, donned nuns habits and masks in a scene similar to Ben Affleck and Jeremy Renner in The Town and robbed a Palos Heights TCF Bank location shortly before closing time Sunday.

The robbery occurred around 2 p.m. Sunday when the robbers jumped the teller wall and ordered one frightened teller with a gun pointed to her head to fill a duffel bag with cash. The robbers escaped in a silver Chevrolet sedan.
