Afternoon Box Score: White Sox Make Fenway Home

Gavin Floyd improved to 6-5 on the season while Paul Konerko and Brent Lillibridge both went yard with two-run shots as the White Sox' continued their recent run of success at Fenway Park. The sweep of the red Sox made for a nice rebound from the listless team that left Toronto with their collective tail between their legs.
Doug Davis, filling in the Cubs' patchwork starting rotation, gave the team a quality start. But Davis was still tagged with the loss after Sean Marshall gave up a tiebreaking single to Michael Bourn in the seventh inning. The Cubs' scoring was limited to Kosuke Fukudome's home run in the first inning
