We've gushed about the wonderful products made by Nicole Greene's truffle truffle before, but these take the cake. It's not often that you can eat a dessert and feel civic pride, but these beautiful candies are like little bundles of Chicago happiness, all wrapped up in a chocolate shell. The "i 'heart' Chicago" collection includes truffles made with Metropolis Coffee, Spice House spices and Half Acre Beer, and they go on sale next Monday.

The twelve piece box includes all three kinds of locally-inspired truffles. The "the redline espresso truffle" combines Metropolis espresso with dark chocolate ganache, "the half acre beer truffle" mixes Over Ale with milk chocolate ganache and "the spice house truffle" uses the Old Town blend of sugar, cinnamon, vanilla and cardamom to spice up milk chocolate.

The box sells for $28, and comes in a gorgeous tin with a picture of the skyline. Buy it as soon as it comes out. Or, if you're going to be at Dose Market this Sunday, the box will be on sale at a special discount.
