A 54-year-old Elgin woman faces a little extra trouble with the law now, after she showed up drunk to her trial for her sixth DUI charge. The judge revoked bail and sent Sandra Uher to Cermak Hospital, part of the Cook County Jail. She could see six to 30 years in prison.

Uher's most recent DUI charge came after she ran a stop sign and crashed into another car in Elgin -- while driving on a revoked license. She registered a .30 on the blood-alcohol test. No one was hurt in the accident.

The Daily Herald reports that Uher "received two DUI convictions in 1999 for separate offenses that occurred on the same day." She was sentenced to supervision in 1997, and was convicted of DUI in 2005 and sentenced to 18 months in prison. She was also arrested twice in 2009 in Kane County.
