Still The Greatest Ever

In sports, memory of one's greatness often fades with time... even for the all-time greats. But even so, we questioned what Michael Jordan's wingman Scottie Pippen was thinking when he recently said that LeBron James might be better than MJ? Even before King James' embarrassing eight point performance last night (Jordan's worst Finals scoring night was 22 points), he took a lot of flack for those words. James himself disagreed with Scottie's assessment. But maybe it's because we don't get to see MJ play anymore that we forget just how spectacular he was and just how incredible it was to watch him work his magic. For those who need a refresher, just watch this video to relive what we got to witness each June for much of the '90's. Until LeBron has hoisted six Larry O'Brien trophies, there is no discussion on who is the greatest.

i just created an account and it looks like a message thought to be lost is actually live.  so, here's another message letting everyone know that it was user error and not my schizophrenic selves posting two very like worded comments.  If I knew how to delete, I would. I apologize. Me too.  Go Bulls.

LeBron will never come close to Jordan in terms of GOAT.  The two disappearing acts in the playoffs aside, LBJ's style of play is not that of a GOAT.  Do two quick searches on youtube: "Jordan flop" and "LeBron flop."  Conversation (not argument) over.

not only is Jordan going to remain untouched by lebron in terms of GOAT, but things like lebron's flopping are only helping nullify the conversation.  Do two quick searches on youtube: "jordan flop" and "lebron flop."  Conversation (not argument) over.

Six finals. Six championships. Six Finals MVPs. LeBron already can't do this, since he's lost one NBA Finals (so far). Played in an era in which hand checking was allowed. Changed his game to develop the killer fall away when he got too old to be an acrobat. All things LeBron has not done. The Flu Game. LeBron has nothing like the flu game.
