Morning Box Score: Diamondbacks Strike White Sox

Edwin Jackson and Arizona starter Daniel Hudson, the key pieces to a trade last season intended to better the White Sox immediately, squared off at Chase Field. Hudson earned the win with a complete game three hitter, which should make for some wonderful fodder for the sports talkers and armchair prognosticators today over where the Sox would be if they held on to Hudson. But that wouldn't answer the continuing questions of the White Sox anemic offense. Paul Konerko's solo shot in the 7th inning accounted for the lone Chicago run, while his teammates stranded four and hit 0-for-2 in scoring position.
