Former Gov. Rod Blagojevich has been found guilty of corruption in his retrial. The jury deadlocked on two of the 20 counts and acquitted him of another.

Blagojevich, who said as he was leaving for the Dirksen Federal Building this afternoon, “My hands are shaking, my knees are weak," showed no emption as the jury read the verdict. Wife Patti slumped into the arms of her brother and shook her head "no" as she left the courtroom. Blagojevich leaned over to his wife after the verdict was read and whispered, "I love you" to his wife.

The verdict this time around is a far cry from last year, when a jury deadlocked on 23 of the 24 counts against Blagojevich. Judge James Zagel has imposed travel restrictions on Blagojevich in the wake of the verdict.

Firefox with Ad Blocker Plus is your friend.

  • If you're talking about the kid in the briefs ... well, you don't really want it to be hard porn, do you?

I was certainly not implying any aspect should be hard. I saw my quota of boys in briefs at the Pride parade yesterday. I don't want to overdo it.

    Time for the appeals.
